Trilegal advises Studds Accessories Limited on its proposed IPO filing
Trilegal is advising Studds Accessories Limited (“Studds”) and the selling shareholders as their legal advisor in connection with the company’s proposed initial public offering (IPO) of equity shares. The book running lead managers to the IPO are IIFL Capital Services Limited and ICICI Securities Limited.
The IPO comprises an offer for sale of 7,786,120 equity shares by the selling shareholders.
Studds is engaged in the design, manufacture, marketing, and sale of two-wheeler helmets under the ‘Studds’ and ‘SMK’ brands, as well as other two-wheeler accessories (such as luggage, gloves, helmet locking devices, rain suits, riding jackets, and eyewear) under the ‘Studds’ brand. Studds distributes its products across India and exports to over 70 countries globally, with significant presence in the Americas, Asia, and Europe.
As per industry data, in Fiscal 2023, Studds was the largest two-wheeler helmet brand in India by revenue, and the largest two-wheeler helmet brand in the world by volume in Calendar Year 2024.
