Prashant received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Jurisprudence and his Master of Arts degree in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford, England, and his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi.
Prashant has been recently recognised by The Economic Times in the prestigious ‘ET 40 under forty’ list of India’s ‘hottest business leaders’ in 2019. Prashant Gupta is a Partner and National Practice Head of Capital Markets focussing primarily on capital markets transactions. He represents both issuers and underwriters in various equity and debt capital raising transactions, including initial public offerings, rights issues and QIP offerings, buy-backs, capital restructurings and pre-IPO private placements. He has advised on capital markets transactions that have raised over USD 50 billion globally, which include both the largest IPO and bond offerings out of India, as well as the largest secondary trade on the stock exchanges in India.
