Mr Kochhar has rich and diverse professional experience of over 30 years, and his areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, foreign direct investment, company law, high-stake complex commercial litigation, anti-corruption & white-collar crime, and prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace (POSH). He regularly advises numerous global Fortune 500 companies (including prominent North American, European and Japanese corporations) on a host of complex Indian law issues.

Thereafter, he obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from Mumbai University and was a merit scholar, ranking third out of 2,900 students in the State of Maharashtra.
