Sameer Abhyankar is the Founding Partner at Innovatus Law and a seasoned commercial litigator with over 15 years of experience in Constitutional Courts and Tribunals in New Delhi and other jurisdictions in India. Having received his tutelage in prestigious chambers in the Supreme Court of India, Sameer cleared his Advocate on Record examination in 2017 so as to be able to plead and practice law before the Supreme Court of India. Commercial dispute resolution being his forte, he also represents the firm in arbitrations for the firm’s clients.

His litigation experience is spread across diverse subjects such as Mining & Environmental Law, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, Company Law, Consumer Protection Law, Electricity Laws, Competition Law, Constitutional Law, Contractual Disputes, Service Law, Education Law and Taxation.

A particular focus area of Sameer’s practice has been Mining and Environmental Law. He represents several mining companies before the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court, the National Green Tribunal and before the statutory authority under the Mines and Minerals (Development & Regulation) Act, 1957.
