Dr. Růžena Štemberková
Dr. Růžena Stemberková is the Head of the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. She holds a Ph.D. in international patent law from the University of Hradec Králové, she focused her postgraduate studies on industrial property law.
Since joining the University of South Bohemia, she has advanced from the role of Intellectual Property Protection Manager to leading the TTO. Her proactive approach to work led to her election as a board member of Transfera.cz, the Czech national platform for technology transfer. She later became Vice-President of Transfera.cz.
She actively contributes to international organizations, serving as a member of the EPO PATLIB Committee for the Visegrad countries, the European Presidency of National Associations Advisory Committee (ASTP PROTON – NAAC), the International Technology Transfer Network (ITTN), and the Licensing Executives Society Czech Republic and Slovakia. She is the author of numerous publications on intellectual property and technology transfer and serves as the EU ROAD Mapping Ambassador for the Czech Republic, focusing on technology and knowledge transfer.
