Central Government Notifies Appointment of Justices BVLN Chakravarthi and T Mallikarjuna Rao as Permanent Judges of Andhra Pradesh High Court

The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended their names in February

The Central Government has notified the appointment of Justice Boppana Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Chakravarthi and Justice Tallapragada Mallikarjuna Rao as permanent Judges of the Andhra Pradesh High Court.

A notification issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice read, “In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Justices Boppana Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Chakravarthi and Tallapragada Mallikarjuna Rao, the additional judges of the Andhra Pradesh High Court, to be judges of the high court with effect from the date they assume the charge of their respective offices.”
