Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Represented CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited in Successful Arbitration

The leading law firm Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted as legal counsel to CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited (“CG Power”) in arbitration proceedings before the Learned Sole Arbitrator Justice Akil Kureshi (Retd.), Former Chief Justice of the Tripura High Court and Rajasthan High Court, arising out of a supply and works contract.

The Sole Arbitrator passed an award allowing CG Power’s major claims with interest and rejecting all counter-claims raised against CG Power. The arbitration involved complex contractual issues including minimum guarantee and take-or-pay obligations.
