Former Delhi High Court Judge Justice Talwant Singh Awarded Senior Advocate Status by Supreme Court
The Supreme Court of India has awarded the Senior Advocate designation to former Delhi High Court judge, Justice Talwant Singh.
The decision in this regard was taken in a full court meeting of the Chief Justice of India Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud and other Supreme Court judges on October 16.
Justice Singh retired from his role as a judge at the Delhi High Court in June 2023. His legal career began in 1986, and he assumed the position of an additional district judge in the year 2000. In 2019, he was appointed as a judge of the Delhi High Court. After his retirement, Justice Singh embarked on establishing his independent legal practice.
