Allison Bell Joins King & Spalding As Capital Markets Partner In New York

Allison Bell Joins King & Spalding as Capital Markets Partner in New York
King & Spalding has announced the addition of Allison Bell as a partner in its Corporate practice group in the New York office. Bell brings significant experience in capital markets transactions and corporate governance, further strengthening the firm’s capabilities in servicing public and private company clients.
Bell advises issuers, underwriters, and sponsors across a broad spectrum of securities matters, including initial public offerings, equity and debt offerings, tender offers, and general corporate matters. Her practice also includes guiding public companies on U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting and disclosure obligations, as well as mergers and acquisitions.
Keith Townsend, co-leader of the Corporate practice group at King & Spalding, said,
“Allison brings the energy, drive and skill set crucial for the firm as we continue to expand our presence in New York and build on the capital markets and public company work we do for our clients. Allison has deep experience working with large private equity firms and their portfolio companies, which we will rely on as we continue to take on more capital markets work from our private equity clients.”
Bell joins from Kirkland & Ellis, where she was a partner. She holds a B.A. from Boston College and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
Commenting on her move, Allison Bell said,
“King & Spalding’s collaborative environment, excellent reputation and strong momentum in the marketplace were very appealing to me as I considered the next step in my career and where I would have the best opportunity to grow my practice. I am eager to jump in to help the continued growth of the New York office, the Corporate team and the firm overall.”
