Clifford Chance advised Çimko on its debut USD 300 million Eurobond offering

Clifford Chance has advised Çimko Çimento ve Beton, a major cement and concrete producer in Türkiye and a subsidiary of Sanko Holding, on its successful debut 144A/Reg S Eurobond offering, raising USD 300 million with a five-year maturity.

This marks Çimko’s first transaction in the international capital markets, which drew significant interest from international and institutional investors. The offering was also supported by leading development finance institutions. Proceeds from the issuance will be used to enhance Çimko’s financial flexibility, support its long-term growth plans, and advance its decarbonisation investment programme and refinancing efforts.

The Clifford Chance team was led by partners Sait Eryılmaz, Matt Fairclough, Johannes Juette, and Jill Concannon.
