Davis Polk advised Galaxy on its Delaware domestication and Nasdaq listing
Davis Polk advised Galaxy in connection with its listing on the Nasdaq Global Select Market, following a series of reorganization transactions. Prior to this, Galaxy Digital Holdings Ltd., a Cayman Islands corporation, was publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). As a result of the reorganization, Galaxy Digital Inc., a Delaware corporation, has succeeded Galaxy Digital Holdings Ltd. as the TSX-listed entity under a new umbrella partnership corporation structure and will also be listed on Nasdaq. The Class A common stock of Galaxy began trading on Nasdaq under the symbol “GLXY” from May 16, 2025.
Headquartered in New York City, Galaxy is a global leader in digital assets and data center infrastructure. The company supports over 1,300 trading counterparties and 1,200 asset management clients, with more than 300 portfolio investments and approximately $7 billion in assets under management.
