DLA Piper advised LRQA in its acquisition of EcoEngineers
DLA Piper advised LRQA, a leading global assurance partner, in its acquisition of EcoEngineers, a US-based consulting, auditing, and advisory firm with a sole focus on energy transition.
With this acquisition, LRQA gains over 120 sustainability experts, further strengthening its capabilities in the growing field of sustainability. The integration of EcoEngineers will enhance its presence in the US while supporting its expansion into the European market, where sustainability regulations continue to gain momentum.
“It was a pleasure to advise LRQA on this exciting acquisition, which will enhance its capabilities to support global corporate clients navigating the energy transition in carbon accounting, greenhouse gas verification, and sustainability,” said Andrew Weil (Partner), who co-led the deal team.
