Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Advised Apiam Animal Health on Its Acquisition by Adamantem Capital
The leading global law firm, Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer (HSF Kramer) is advising Apiam Animal Health Limited (ASX: AHX) on its proposed acquisition by entities controlled by private equity firm Adamantem Capital by way of a scheme of arrangement.
Apiam is one of Australia’s leading rural veterinary businesses, operating more than 80 vet clinics and business sites across the country. It provides services to both the companion animal and livestock industries, including dairy, beef, pig, sheep, and poultry sectors. The acquisition recognises Apiam’s strong market position, extensive national network, and continued growth potential.
“We are delighted to be working with the team at Apiam on this important transaction.”
– Philippa Stone, Partner, Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer
The HSF Kramer team was led by Philippa Stone (Partner) and Andrew Rich (Partner), with support from Mia Beagley (Senior Associate) and Henry Simpson (Senior Associate), and from Ryan Leslie (Partner), Naison Seery (Senior Associate), and Kim Noah (Senior Associate) in the tax team.
Implementation of the scheme remains subject to approval by the Australian Foreign Investment Review Board, Apiam shareholders, and the court.
