Hogan Lovells Advised on US$188 Million Qualified Institutions Placement by Kaynes Technology India Limited
The leading global law firm Hogan Lovells acted as US counsel to the book running lead managers on the issuance of equity share capital aggregating US$188 million by way of a qualified institutions placement (QIP) by Kaynes Technology India Limited. This marks Kaynes’ second major capital raise since its IPO — Hogan Lovells also advised on Kaynes’ QIP in 2023 and its IPO in 2022.
Kaynes Technology India Limited is a fast-growing player in the electronics manufacturing services sector in India, catering to major players in the automotive, industrial, aerospace and defence, outer-space, nuclear, medical, railways, Internet of Things, information technology, and other segments.
The Hogan Lovells Capital Markets team was led by Biswajit Chatterjee (Head of the India Practice and Dubai Office Managing Partner), with support from Kaustubh George, Varun Jetly, Aditya Rajput, Suchisubhra Sarkar, Aditya Dsouza, Sanjana Ravjiani, Komal Israni, and Purva Mishra.
The issue was managed by Axis Capital Limited, Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Limited, and Nomura Financial Advisory and Securities (India) Private Limited.
