Norton Rose Fulbright advised MEAG on the sale of property in Stuttgart
Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised MEAG, asset manager of Munich and ERGO, on the sale of the property at Calwer Strasse 33-35/Kronprinzstrasse 28-30 in Stuttgart from a special real estate fund it manages to a fund managed by J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
The property, built in 1996, is located in a prime city center location and serves multiple purposes including office, education, retail, gastronomy, and residential use. Its passageway provides a direct link between the popular shopping streets Königstrasse and Calwer Strasse.
Norton Rose Fulbright advised MEAG comprehensively on the transaction, including the negotiation of the purchase agreement and legal and tax due diligence. The team was led by Dr. Maren Stölting (Partner, Munich, Co-Head of Real Estate EMEA). MEAG was also advised by Robert Hampp (MEAG-LRC/Real Estate Law) on legal aspects and Matthias Weigert (MR Group Tax) on tax matters.
