Osborne Clarke advised nettle on its £1.45 million pre-seed funding round

Osborne Clarke advised nettle on its £1.45 million pre-seed funding round
Osborne Clarke advised nettle, an AI-powered platform that revolutionises commercial insurance by streamlining risk assessment, on its £1.45 million pre-seed funding round.
The funding round was led by early-stage tech investor Project A, alongside top angel investors from major insurers, startups, and leaders in insurance and AI. With this investment, nettle aims to scale its core engineering team, accelerate the risk assessment process in commercial insurance, and enable knowledge transfer to future generations of risk engineers.
"Uday, Mathias and the whole Osborne Clarke team were invaluable partners during our recent raise. From day 1 we were seriously impressed by both the depth of their expertise and their approachability. We highly recommend OC to all fellow Founders." Nettle Co-Founders Jack Miller and Katya Lait
Mathias commented: "It's been a pleasure for Uday and I to work with Jack and Katya, who are building a transformative AI product to make the commercial insurance market more efficient and help engender stronger relationships between insurers and their clients."
The Osborne Clarke team was led by Mathias Loertscher (Partner, Corporate), with support from Uday Mehra (Senior Associate, Corporate).
