Ropes & Gray advised Harvest Partners on its acquisition of The Learning Experience

Ropes & Gray advised Harvest Partners, a private equity firm with over 40 years of experience investing in middle-market companies, on its acquisition of The Learning Experience (“TLE”) from Golden Gate Capital. TLE is a leading provider of early childhood education serving children six weeks to six years old. The company’s management team, led by Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Richard Weissman, will continue to lead TLE and remain significant owners of the business. Golden Gate Capital will retain a minority position in the company as part of the transaction.

The closing of the transaction was announced in a press release on July 1, 2025. Additional terms of the deal were not disclosed.
