TripleOKLaw LLP Advised Kenya Pipeline Company And The Privatization Authority On Landmark IPO
TripleOKLaw LLP advised Kenya Pipeline Company and the Privatization Authority on landmark IPO
The leading, top-tier full-service law firm based in Nairobi, Kenya, TripleOKLaw LLP acted as lead counsel, alongside G&A Advocates LLP, to Kenya Pipeline Company and the Privatization Authority in connection with the initial public offering (IPO) of Kenya Pipeline Company. The IPO aims to raise KES 106.3 billion (approximately USD 824 million) through the sale of a 65% stake in the company on the Nairobi Securities Exchange.
The IPO represents East Africa’s largest-ever public offering and provides an opportunity for investors to participate in one of the region’s most significant market offerings. The transaction also incorporates innovation through a pioneering e-IPO, enabling fully digital subscription and access for retail and institutional investors across Kenya and beyond.
The TripleOKLaw LLP transaction team was led by Jinaro Kibet SC (Senior Partner, Corporate and Commercial Practice) and Stephen Mallowah (Partner), with support from Brian Muindi (Head – Corporate & Commercial, FCIArb.), Jeff Njaungiri (Associate – Corporate & Commercial), Alex Gatawa (Associate), and Davis Kosgei (Associate).
TripleOKLaw LLP is primarily a leading Kenyan law firm based in Nairobi, though it maintains a strong "global reach" through strategic alliances.
