The Casablanca-based business law firm, Zarhouni & El Hassani Law Firm advised AEGIS Ventures and Reda Bakkali on the acquisition of a majority stake in SEKERA, a leading cybersecurity company operating in Morocco and France. The transaction aims to establish an integrated cybersecurity platform and position Morocco as a regional cybersecurity hub in Africa.
The transaction also involved FinTrust Capital as exclusive M&A advisor, led by Moncef Benzakour with support from Hamza Tourbih, and legal counsels to SEKERA, Sylvain Clavé and Denis Moati-Marcozzi.
The Zarhouni & El Hassani Law Firm team was led by Yassir Zarhouni (Managing Partner) and Hamza El Hassani (Partner), advising on all Moroccan legal aspects of the transaction. French legal aspects were handled by Fatima-Zohra Khaloui of Legis.Avocats.
