Cuatrecasas Creates Brand Innova To Blend Novel Initiatives
It is designed to support the entrepreneurial and start-up ecosystem
Spanish firm Cuatrecasas has established a business unit to style its open innovative initiatives under the Cuatrecasas Innova brand.
These include start-up accelerator program Cuatrecasas Acelera; technology piloting program Cuatrecasas Fast Track; financing and investment support unit Cuatrecasas Ventures; legal-focused entrepreneur podcast Innovado Con Startups; legal and regulatory seminars for start-ups Jornadas Legales; and internal innovation initiative Food4Brains.
The company stated forming Innova to promote newness, encourage collaboration and exchange ideas through knowledge, tools and other resources to support the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Francesc Muñoz, the CIO of Cuatrecasas, expressed, “After 10 years of driving innovation at Cuatrecasas and in the legal sector, we launch Cuatrecasas Innova to better organise the growing initiatives we are developing and give momentum to these initiatives.”
With expectations of new collaborations and projects in the future, over 150 lawyers from its offices in Spain and Portugal and Latin American offices in Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru will provide expertise and support to the initiative.
Diana Rivera, a venture capital and private equity partner at Cuatrecasas, stated: “Cuatrecasas Innova emerges as a natural evolution to extend our presence in the ecosystem with new initiatives, spaces and collaborations, ensuring the viability and sustainability from a legal perspective.”
