Abreu Advogados Advised IMG Group On C2 Capital’s Investment In Everbio
Abreu Advogados advised IMG Group on C2 Capital’s investment in Everbio
Abreu Advogados advised the IMG Group on C2 Capital’s investment in Everbio, a subsidiary of Evertis Ibérica, through the issuance of convertible bonds in the amount of €15,000,000.
Everbio, established in 2024 by the IMG Group, was created with the strategic objective of bringing together the R&D activities of the IMG Group companies, which until then had been spread across Evertis, Selenis and Renascis.
This investment forms part of the IMG Group’s investment plan of approximately €39,500,000, which has been recognised by the State as being of special interest to the national economy. It will enable Everbio to create an industrial innovation hub in Portalegre, responsible for defining and implementing the Group’s R&D strategy, with a focus on recycling and circularity, the development of high-performance sustainable materials, green and efficient production processes, and the promotion of collaborative innovation.
Abreu Advogados’ legal advice included full support throughout the transaction, encompassing the structuring of the investment and the preparation and negotiation of the related contractual documentation.
The Abreu Advogados team was led by Diogo Pessanha (Partner), with the involvement of professional Miguel Rodrigues Leal (Partner), Benedita Pessanha (Senior Associate), and Inês Matos Soares (Trainee Lawyer), and Pedro Ferreira G. Henriques (Trainee Lawyer).
