Addleshaw Goddard Advised Serena Industrial Partners On The Structuring Of The Fund Serena Bellova To Strengthen Its Position At Paris-Beauvais Airport
Addleshaw Goddard advised Serena Industrial Partners on the structuring of the fund Serena Bellova to strengthen its position at Paris-Beauvais Airport
International law firm Addleshaw Goddard has advised Serena Industrial Partners on the structuring and launch of Serena Bellova F.C.R.E., a European private equity fund specialising in airport infrastructure.
With the creation of this new vehicle, and through a follow-on investment via its first fund, Serena Infra SCSp, Serena has acquired an additional 20% stake in Paris-Beauvais Airport, increasing its shareholding to 44.5% and becoming a key shareholder in this strategic asset, whose concession runs for 30 years from 2024.
Through this transaction, Serena acquires part of Egis’ stake and becomes a key shareholder alongside the French industrial group. Currently, Serena controls and operates the airport infrastructure jointly with the Bouygues and Egis groups.
The strategy of Serena Bellova focuses on promoting initiatives with environmental and social characteristics in line with the European SFDR Regulation, including monitoring greenhouse gas emissions, energy efficiency, sustainable waste management, mitigation of airport noise, and the promotion of local employment and the well-being of communities near airports.
The Addleshaw Goddard team was led by Isabel Rodríguez (Managing Partner), with the collaboration of Gonzalo Lozano (Senior Associate), and Lidia Silva (Associate).
