ALC – Alieldean Weshahi & Partners Advised Al Tawfeek Securitization Company On EGP 1.849 Billion Securitization Issuance
ALC – Alieldean Weshahi & Partners advised Al Tawfeek Securitization Company on EGP 1.849 billion securitization issuance
The leading independent Egyptian law firm, ALC – Alieldean Weshahi & Partners, acted as legal advisor to Al Tawfeek Securitization Company on its EGP 1.849 billion first securitization issuance under its inaugural program, backed by a portfolio valued at EGP 2.835 billion assigned by A.T. Lease (Dallah Al-Baraka Group – DBG).
The issuance was structured across three tranches rated AA+, AA, and A by MERIS, reflecting the strong credit profile of the underlying leasing portfolio and highlighting the continued sophistication of Egypt’s debt capital markets. The transaction involved leading financial institutions including Al Ahly Pharos – الأهلي فاروس, CI Capital Holding, National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, Banque du Caire, and Commercial International Bank (CIB), serving as financial advisors, arrangers, underwriters, and placement agents.
This landmark transaction underscores ALC’s continued role in advising on complex securitization and capital markets mandates in Egypt.
The ALC transaction team was led by Mahmoud El Araby (Partner and Head of Capital Markets), alongside Loay Khaled (Associate) and Mariam Romana (Junior Associate).
ALC – Alieldean Weshahi & Partners (ALC) is a leading independent Egyptian law firm. While it is not a "global" firm in terms of having an expansive worldwide office network, it operates with global standards and maintains significant international reach through strategic partnerships and cross-border expertise.
