The prominent Egyptian-based law firm with a strong international focus and global reach, Alliance Law - Abou Elkheir, Al Rafie & Partners advised Tiba Starch & Glucose Manufacturing Co, a leading Egyptian producer of rice-based food ingredients, in connection with a significant minority investment by Amethis, a private equity firm focused on financial, environmental, and social sustainability across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
The investment, made through Amethis’ MENA Fund II, will support Tiba’s next phase of growth, including expanding production capacity, diversifying its product portfolio, and strengthening its presence across regional and international markets. The transaction is subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2026.
