A&O Shearman Advised Intercontinental Exchange on USD 2 billion Investment in Polymarket

A&O Shearman is advising Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE: ICE), the owner of the New York Stock Exchange, on its strategic investment of up to USD 2 billion in Polymarket, a leading prediction market platform. The investment reflects a valuation of approximately USD 8 billion pre-investment.

Alongside its investment, ICE will become a global distributor of Polymarket’s event-driven data, providing customers with sentiment indicators on topics of market relevance, and bringing prediction markets into the financial mainstream.
