Clifford Chance Advised China Modern Dairy on Its Proposed Takeover of China Shengmu
Global law firm Clifford Chance is advised one of China's largest dairy companies China Modern Dairy Holdings Ltd. (CMD) on its proposed mandatory conditional cash offer for the issued shares of China Shengmu Organic Milk Limited (CSM) for approximately HK$2 billion (US$257 million).
The firm has advised on several recent landmark takeovers, including Dongfeng Motor on the take-private merger and listing of VOYAH, HSBC's privatisation of Hang Seng Bank and the privatisation of ENN Energy.
