Clifford Chance Advised Repsol On Sale Of 49% Stake In 400 MW Renewable Portfolio In Spain To Schroders Greencoat
Eight wind farms totalling 300 MW in the northern Spanish provinces of Teruel, Zaragoza and Huesca; and two solar plants totalling 100 MW in province of Palencia constitute the portfolio.
Clifford Chance has advised Repsol on the sale of a 49% stake in a 400 MW wind and solar portfolio located in Spain valued at EUR 580 million to Schroders Greencoat.
Eight wind farms totalling 300 MW in the northern Spanish provinces of Teruel, Zaragoza and Huesca; and two solar plants totalling 100 MW in province of Palencia constitute the portfolio. All assets are expected to become operational in the first half of 2025.
Leading the Clifford Chance team advising on the transaction were Corporate / M&A Partner Luis Alonso and Counsel Javier Hermosilla and they were supported by Associates Íñigo Navarrete and Sofía Albiñana. The team also included Partner José Luis Zamarro and Associate Mónica Romero from the public law department and Counsel Begoña Barrantes from the antitrust department.
