Clyde & Co Advised Shareholders of AEG Power Solutions B.V. on Sale to Hammond Power Solutions
The leading global law firm, Clyde & Co Corporate/M&A team is advising the shareholders of AEG Power Solutions B.V. – Coltrane Asset Management LP and ROBUS CAPITAL – on the sale of all outstanding equity in AEG Power Solutions to Hammond Power Solutions (HPS), North America’s largest dry-type transformer producer.
The transaction brings together a global leader in mission-critical industrial power electronics with HPS, enhancing portfolio strength, market reach, and long-term growth. Headquartered in the Netherlands, AEG Power Solutions serves oil & gas, power generation, industrial processes, transportation, nuclear, and other critical infrastructure, with five manufacturing facilities across Europe and Asia. HPS, listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and headquartered in Ontario, provides dry-type transformers and power quality solutions, with manufacturing plants in Canada, the US, Mexico, and India.
