Debevoise Advised J.C. Flowers In Its Acquisition Of Admiral Group’s U.S. Motor Insurance Business
Debevoise & Plimpton LLP advised J.C. Flowers & Co. in its acquisition of Admiral Group’s U.S. motor insurance business, including Elephant Insurance Company and Elephant Insurance Services.
The acquisition marks a significant expansion for J.C. Flowers in the U.S. insurance sector. Admiral Group, headquartered in the UK, has been operating its U.S. motor insurance segment through Elephant, offering services to a growing base of policyholders across various U.S. states.
The Debevoise team was led by Andrew Jamieson (Partner, Insurance M&A) and Gregory Gooding (Partner, M&A), with support from Keith Slattery (Counsel, Insurance M&A), Nicole Miller (Associate, Insurance M&A), and Hadel Alfagir (Associate, M&A).
