DLA Piper Advised BearingPoint On Sale Of Minority Stake In Former RegTech Biz Unit
A globally independent management and technology consultancy headquartered in Amsterdam, BearingPoint has around 6,200 employees at locations in 24 countries.
DLA Piper has advised BearingPoint on the sale of its minority stake in its previous Regulatory Technology (RegTech) business unit, along with Nordic Capital.
A globally independent management and technology consultancy headquartered in Amsterdam, BearingPoint has around 6,200 employees at locations in 24 countries. The firm regularly advises businesses in the areas of technology, digital transformation and strategy.
International solutions for financial authorities and institutions are offered by the previous RegTech business unit, stressing on reporting processes. The business unit, also known as Regnology, has more than 30 years of experience and develops efficient and innovative technologies to better process automation and data quality.
Partner Dr Thomas Schmuck led the DLA Piper team which included senior associate Daniel Osmanovic and associate Felix Groppenbächer (all Corporate/M&A, Frankfurt).
In 2020, BearingPoint was advised by the DLA Piper team led by Partner Dr Thomas Schmuck on sale of its majority stake in RegTech to Nordic Capital.
