DLA Piper Advised Flix On Major Equity Investment In Leading Airport Transfer Platform Flibco
DLA Piper Advised Flix On Major Equity Investment In Leading Airport Transfer Platform Flibco
Global law firm DLA Piper has advised Flix, a global travel tech company, on the acquisition of a majority stake in Flibco, a leading European airport transfer platform, from the Luxembourg‑based family group SLG (formerly Sales‑Lentz Group), which is active in mobility and travel in Luxembourg, Belgium and the Greater Region. The closing took place at the beginning of January 2026, with SLG remaining a minority shareholder and strategic partner in Flibco.
The acquisition represents an important step in Flix’s expansion of its airport transfer services and its broader European mobility strategy. Headquartered in Luxembourg, Flibco operates shuttle services at major European airports and will continue to accelerate its growth as part of the Flix Group.
The DLA Piper team was led by Mélody Brunot (Partner) in Luxembourg, and Dr Moritz von Hesberg (Partner), in Germany, with teams from Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Spain and the UK working closely together. The mandate reflects DLA Piper’s ability to deliver coordinated legal advice on complex, multi‑jurisdictional transactions in the mobility and infrastructure sector.
The Luxembourg corporate team was led by Mélody Brunot (Partner), supported by Gersende Masfayon (Counsel), and Céline Pignon (Counsel), and Valentin Garcia (Associate).
Regulatory and litigation matters were supported by Carole Rhein (Counsel), while IPT issues were advised by David Alexandre (Partner), with Alejandro González Vega (Senior Associate), and Guillaume Dally (Senior Associate).
