DLA Piper Advised Rimkus On Acquisition Of Human Factors Consulting Services Inc.
HFCSI will be rolled into its Core Human Factors group by Rimkus; the group provides human factors analysis on consumer, industrial, and healthcare-related products.
DLA Piper has advised Houston-based engineering and technical consulting firm, Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc., in its acquisition of Los Angeles-based human factors and engineering and medical device consulting firm Human Factors Consulting Services Inc. (HFCSI).
HFCSI will be rolled into its Core Human Factors group by Rimkus; the group provides human factors analysis on consumer, industrial, and healthcare-related products.
“It was a pleasure to advise Rimkus on this significant acquisition, which will have a major impact on enhancing their customer offerings,” Andrew Weil, the DLA Piper partner who co-led the deal team reportedly said. In addition to Andrew Weil (Chicago), the DLA Piper team was co-led by Brian Wohlberg (Chicago) and included partner Stephen Taeusch (Palo Alto); of counsel James Duchesne (Washington, DC); senior attorney Brittany Ellenberg (San Francisco); and associates Christine Korper, Paul Mosser, and Jason Veit (all Chicago).
