Dreny & Partners Advised Drive Finance on EGP 2.440 Billion Securitization Transaction
The leading law firm in Egypt, Dreny & Partners advised Drive Finance in connection with a securitization transaction involving its consumer finance and factoring “Car Loans” portfolios, amounting to approximately EGP 2.440 billion, Egypt, December 30, 2025
The transaction forms part of a broader three-year multi-issuance securitization programme with an aggregate value of EGP 25 billion, aimed at supporting Drive Finance’s funding strategy and portfolio growth.
Commercial International Bank (CIB) and Arab African International Bank (AAIB) acted as the financial advisors and lead arrangers on the transaction and also served as underwriters, along with Al Baraka Bank. AAIB further acted as the custodian and bookrunner, while Baker Tilly served as the official auditor.
The Dreny & Partners capital markets team included Metwally Sweify (Senior Associate), Aya Khaled (Managing Associate), and Farah Younis (Junior Associate).
Additionally, Nagy Mostafa Ebied (Senior Associate and Head of Capital Market Procedures) worked on the transaction, together with Ahmed Reda (Associate).
