Freshfields Advised Altor on Acquisition of Majority Stake in Evac
Global law firm Freshfields advised Altor (Altor Fund VI and Altor ACT I) on its acquisition of a majority stake in Evac Holding Oy from Bridgepoint.
Evac was founded in 1979 and has since evolved into a global leader in end-to-end cleantech solutions for marine, off-shore and land-based industries. Evac specialises in mission-critical water, waste management and vessel protection systems that enable the world’s navies, cruise operators and commercial fleets to operate safely, sustainably and efficiently. The company is headquartered in Espoo, Finland with approximately 550 employees, presence in more than 70 countries and a world-class global service network. Evac’s diversified marine and land-based customer base is found across cruise, naval, merchant, yacht and other marine segments.
Evac’s management will reinvest alongside Altor. Altor will work closely with Evac’s management to support their growth ambitions across segments and products.
