Freshfields Advised AXA IM Alts On The Acquisition Of A Majority Stake In ILOS
Freshfields, a global law firm, has advised AXA IM Alts on the acquisition of a majority stake in ILOS Projects GmbH (‘ILOS’) from Omnes Capital and founder-led ILOS New Energy. Closing of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
ILOS is a renewable energy company focused on the development of photovoltaic projects, actively building a pipeline of solar projects in Europe's core markets.
AXA IM Alts is a global leader in alternative investments. This agreement with a company committed to renewable energy solutions will help AXA IM Alts strengthen its portfolio of sustainable and high-quality infrastructure businesses with a focus on decarbonisation.
The Freshfields team was led by Natascha Doll (Partner), Carsten Bork (Senior Associate) and Lukas Pirnay (Senior Associate), with support from Steffen Blume (Associate, all Hamburg) and Maximilian Kind (Senior Associate, Hamburg, all M&A).
