Freshfields Advised On The US$600m Listing Of Gigadevice On HKSE
Global law firm Freshfields has provided Hong Kong and US law advice to GigaDevice Semiconductor Inc. (“GigaDevice”) in the global offering and listing of its shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (“HKSE”).
Founded in 2005, GigaDevice is an integrated circuit design house for a diverse range of chips. They provide customers with a wide range of chips, including Flash, niche dynamic random access memory, micro control units, analog chips and sensor chips that can be used in consumer electronics, automobiles, industrial applications (such as industrial automation, energy storage and battery management), personal computers and servers, internet of things, network communications and other fields to meet various demands, as well as a complete set of systems and solutions, including corresponding algorithms and software. According to Frost & Sullivan, GigaDevice is ranked second globally and first in Chinese Mainland in NOR Flash category, in terms of sales, with a global market share of 18.5%.
