The full-service law firm, G&A Advocates acted as legal advisors to Kenya Pipeline Company Limited (KPC) in its Initial Public Offer (IPO), marking the first IPO on the Nairobi Securities Exchange PLC in over 10 years and the first successful privatization under the current legal framework. The transaction represents a historic milestone for Kenya’s capital markets.

G&A Advocates congratulated the Privatization Authority, Kenya Pipeline Company, co-advisors TripleOKLaw Advocates, and all other advisors, including Faida Investment Bank, PwC Kenya, Dyer & Blair Investment Bank, Francis Drummond & Company Limited, Belva Digital, Apex Porter Novelli Kenya, Image Registrars Ltd, KCB Bank Group, Co-operative Bank of Kenya, Stanbic Bank Kenya, Capital Markets Authority – Kenya, KASIB Kenya, and The Newmark Group, on the successful completion of this landmark transaction.
The G&A Advocates transaction team included Eric Gumbo (Managing Partner), Doreen Onwong'a (Partner, Corporate & Commercial), Ken Melly (Partner, Dispute Resolution), Nelson Karumba (Associate, Corporate & Commercial), Karon Koech (Associate, Corporate & Commercial), Claudeta Malonza (Head of Department), Loice Thiongo (Associate), Perpetua Mburugu (Associate, Dispute Resolution), Charles Mayiga (Associate), and Alex Mbaya (Associate).
