Helmy, Hamza & Partners, Baker McKenzie Advised Swiss MEDLOG in connection with development of dry port in Egypt
Helmy, Hamza & Partners, Baker McKenzie has advised MEDLOG Transport & Logistics, the global logistics and supply chain provider owned by MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, on entering into a public-private partnership (PPP) with the General Authority of Land and Dry Ports (GALDP) to develop a state-of-the-art dry port and logistics center in 10th of Ramadan City, Egypt.
The new facility, once fully operational, is projected to handle 500,000 TEUs annually, contributing to enhanced trade and transportation efficiency. This project is part of Egypt’s ambitious plan to develop 15 logistics hubs and dry ports across the country, strengthening Egypt’s position as a regional trade hub while streamlining supply chains and cutting transportation costs.
