Herbert Smith Freehills Advised Blinq On Us$25 Million Series A Capital Raise
Herbert Smith Freehills advised Blinq on its US$25 million Series A capital raise. The round was led by US-based Touring Capital with co-investors Blackbird Ventures, Square Peg Capital, and HubSpot Ventures.
This new capital raised capital will be allocated to fund the continued rapid growth and expansion of the company.
Blinq is an Australian company that provides a digital business card platform and has over 2.5 million users across 500,000 companies.
Founder and CEO of Blinq, Jarrod Webb said, “We’re incredibly proud to have closed this significant funding round, which reinforces the strength of our vision and the momentum behind Blinq. We’re grateful to Claire, Adam and the team at Herbert Smith Freehills for their expert guidance throughout the process. Their support has been instrumental to our success.”

The Herbert Smith Freehills team was led by Claire Thompson (Partner and Co-Head of Venture Capital) and Adam Ong (Senior Associate) with support from Spandan Das (Solicitor) working across the firm’s Melbourne and Brisbane offices.
