Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Advised Shandong Sinocera Functional Material on its A$166m Proposed Acquisition of SDI
Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer advised Shandong Sinocera Functional Material Co., Ltd. (300285.SZ) (Sinocera) on its proposed A$166m acquisition of SDI Limited (ASX: SDI).
Sinocera recently announced that it has entered into a scheme implementation deed for the acquisition of 100% of SDI by way of a scheme of arrangement.
The acquisition, once implemented, will establish a major global player in dental materials. It combines SDI’s strong innovation capabilities and market presence with Sinocera’s leading and highly regarded functional materials and manufacturing expertise to create a more competitive, globally focused dental materials business.
Philippa Stone said, “We are delighted to be advising the Sinocera team in this significant transaction for the dental materials sector in Australia. We look forward to continuing to support Sinocera and its impressive team as we move towards implementation of this important transaction.”
