Hogan Lovells Advised Banks on the Placement of a EUR 300 Million Mortgage Pfandbrief issue by BSK 1818 AG
Global leading law firm Led by Frankfurt partner Dr. Jochen Seitz, international law firm Hogan Lovells advised a banking syndicate consisting of Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale (Lead Manager), Landesbank Baden-Württemberg and Norddeutsche Landesbank - Girozentrale - on the placement of a Mortgage Pfandbrief of BSK 1818 AG (formerly operating as Landesbank Berlin AG) with an issue volume of EUR 300 million.
The Mortgage Pfandbrief with a term of 7 years and an interest rate of 2.625 percent was successfully placed on 23 October 2025 and admitted to the open market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
BSK 1818 AG is the owner of Berliner Sparkasse and is considered as a separate savings bank association in accordance with the Berlin Savings Banks Act. BSK 1818 AG is a regular issuer of Mortgage Pfandbriefe, Public Pfandbriefe, unsecured and subordinated bonds.
The Hogan Lovells team regularly advised the banks with regard to transactions of BSK 1818 AG. This is the first issue of BSK 1818 AG after its name change on 15 July 2025.
