Hogan Lovells Advised Vidia on the financing of the acquisition of Tectus by DEZ
Global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised Vidia Equity on the refinancing and add-on financing of the acquisition of Tectus Flachdachabdichtungen GmbH (Tectus) by dach energiezukunft (DEZ), the roof energy services platform focused on energy-efficient refurbishment of commercial and industrial flat roofs and the integration of rooftop solar, backed by Vidia Climate Fund I.
With Tectus, DEZ completes its fourth acquisition under the Vidia Climate Fund I, further strengthening the platform’s capabilities in the German market for roof energy services.
DEZ is a trusted partner in the redevelopment of industrial and commercial sites across Germany. By combining expertise in flat roofing and photovoltaics, DEZ is driving decarbonisation through energy-efficient roof refurbishment and the installation of solar systems.
Vidia is a private equity firm investing in companies with proven technologies that will contribute to and benefit from the transition to a net-zero economy. Hogan Lovells has advised Vidia comprehensively on all legal aspects of the financing process.
The Hogan Lovells team for Vidia Equity was led by Dr. Thomas Freund (Partner), Tiziana Daxenberger (Senior Associate), Stefanie Grosch (Business Lawyer) (Banking, Munich) and Dr. Ingmar Dörr (Partner, Tax, Munich).
