Linklaters Advised Greenko On US$1bn High Yield Bond Issuance
The funds will be used for refinancing the pumped storage project in Andhra Pradesh, India
Prestigious multinational law firm Linklaters has advised Greenko Wind Projects (Mauritius) Ltd, a subsidiary of Greenko Energy Holdings, on the issuance of US$ 1 billion 7.25 percent senior bonds due 2028.
The proceeds will be utilized to refinance the indebtedness of the 1,680 MW Pinnapuram standalone pumped storage project in Andhra Pradesh, India.
Greenko is one of the world’s leading energy transitions and decarbonization solutions companies. It has an installed renewable energy capacity of 10 GW across wind, solar and hydro, with presence across 15 Indian states.
