Mohamed Ridza & Co advised Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad on USD 70 Million Islamic Overseas Investment Financing Facility
The prominent Malaysian law firm, Mohamed Ridza & Co, advised Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad (EXIM Bank) on a USD 70 million Islamic Overseas Investment Financing Facility to Berjaya Okinawa Investment (S) Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Berjaya Land Berhad. The facility will support the development of the Four Seasons Resort & Private Residences in Okinawa, Japan.
The cross-border Islamic financing transaction was led by Mohamad Nazran Basirun (Partner), with Thariq Abdullah (Head of Special Projects); Shazana Abdul Aziz (Senior Associate); and Associates Miw Zhong Heng and Tee Kai Yan.
