The international law firm in Japan, Nishimura & Asahi advised Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. and its consolidated subsidiary Mizuho Securities Co., Ltd. on their acquisition of more than 60% of the shares of Avendus Capital Private Limited, a leading financial services and investment firm in India.
The deal leveraged the firm’s expertise in cross-border M&A, joint ventures, financial institutions, and compliance with finance regulations across India, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and the United States.
