Osborne Clarke advised on sale of BYOMA to Bansk
International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised the senior leadership team of cult favourite skincare brand BYOMA on the entry into an agreement for the sale of the business to private equity firm, Bansk Group, and management's reinvestment into the brand.
Founded in 2022, BYOMA has become one of the fastest-growing skincare brands globally due to its clinically proven solutions and prestige formulas offered at an accessible price point. With their instantly recognisable bright packaging, all BYOMA products are researched and developed to the highest standards and undergo rigorous clinical and efficacy testing to ensure they deliver proven, visible results. This has made the brand a huge hit with beauty magazines and online influencers on sites like TikTok, where it has over 1 million followers and nearly 8 million likes.
BYOMA will continue to be led by Founder and Marc Elrick (Chief Executive Officer), and the existing leadership team.
Marc Elrick, (CEO of BYOMA), said, “I've had the pleasure of working with Leanne Wright and the brilliant team at Osborne Clarke for over 12 months during the sale of my business and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Their expertise, clear communication, and ability to anticipate challenges made the process smooth and stress-free. Beyond their technical skill, they brought a level of professionalism and genuine care that gave me total confidence at every stage. If you’re looking for a corporate lawyer who combines deep legal knowledge with practical business sense, and genuine compassion Leanne and the team at Osborne Clarke are exceptional.”
Leanne Wright, private equity (Partner) at Osborne Clarke, said: “BYOMA is one of the most exciting skincare brands in the market right now, so we are proud to have helped the leadership team secure its next phase of growth.”
The Osborne Clarke team was led by Leanne Wright (Partners), Edward Persse (Partner), with Lottie France (Associate), Krish Mistry (Associate), and Demi Joannides (Associate). Tax advice was provided by Mathew Oliver (Partner), and Jonny Squires (Associate).
