Osborne Clarke Advised REG Technologies on Majority Investment from Accel-KKR
International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised REG Technologies, a leading provider of compliance and regulatory software for the insurance and financial services sector, on its strategic majority investment from Accel-KKR, a global technology focused private equity firm.
The investment will empower REG Technologies to accelerate its product innovation, strengthen commercial operations, and pursue expansion into new geographic markets. The company's platform is critical for brokers, Managing General Agents, carriers and financial networks to streamline counterparty due diligence, onboarding, and ongoing compliance monitoring in a complex regulatory landscape.
"This pivotal partnership between REG Technologies and Accel-KKR marks a significant step for a UK-founded innovator addressing a critical and growing challenge in global insurance and financial services. Our role in supporting REG Technologies leveraged our deep sector experience in both technology and financial services to help structure a strategic investment that will fuel the company's next phase of growth and international scaling." Robert Wood, Partner, Osborne Clarke.
