Sidley Austin LLP Advised Belrise Industries on US$250 Million Initial Public Offering
Sidley Austin LLP advised Belrise Industries Limited on its US$250 million initial public offering. The IPO, underwritten by Axis Capital, HSBC, Jefferies, and SBI Capital Markets, consisted of a fresh issue of equity shares and received an overwhelming subscription of 43 times. The equity shares are listed on the BSE and NSE.
Belrise is a prominent Indian automotive component manufacturer offering safety-critical systems and engineering solutions across two-, three-, and four-wheelers, commercial vehicles, and agri-vehicles. The company supports both electric and internal combustion platforms and holds a significant share in India’s two-wheeler metal components segment.
The Sidley team advising on the transaction was led by Manoj Bhargava (Partner), with support from Harekrishna J.
