Simpson Thacher Advised Underwriters in Mondelēz International’s $550 Million Offering
Leading law firm Simpson Thacher & Bartlett recently represented the underwriters, including BBVA Securities Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Mizuho Securities USA LLC, and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC. The underwriters played a crucial role in Mondelēz International, Inc.'s successful registered offering of $550 million aggregate principal amount of 4.750 per cent notes due 2029. The offering, which closed on February 20, 2024, marks a significant milestone for the global snack company.
Mondelēz International’s diverse portfolio includes globally recognised brands like Oreo, Ritz, LU, CLIF Bar, and Tate’s Bake Shop biscuits and baked snacks. Additionally, their chocolate offerings feature Cadbury Dairy Milk, Milka, and Toblerone.
