Squire Patton Boggs Advised PREMIUM Equity Partners on Investment in color parts GmbH
Squire Patton Boggs has advised PREMIUM Equity Partners on its acquisition of a majority stake in color parts GmbH, a leading provider of high-end coatings and surface finishes in the luxury and premium segment.
The existing shareholders, managing directors Meik Jeremies and Thomas Hähnel, as well as the WMS Wachstumsfonds Mittelstand Sachsen, remain involved in the company through a substantial re-investment.
Founded in 2003, color parts is a leading provider of high-end coating and surface finishing solutions with state-of-the-art production facilities in Cunewalde and Kodersdorf, Saxony, Germany. The company specializes in high-quality wet painting and offers an almost unlimited color palette and a wide range of special effects. Its service offering includes applications for designer bathroom and sanitary fittings, premium switch and socket systems, luxury writing instruments, medical pen systems and luxury vehicles.
PREMIUM Equity Partners, founded in 2011, is an investment company that focuses on strong niche companies in the DACH region, providing capital for growth financing, succession solutions, and spin-offs. The investment by PREMIUM Equity Partners in color parts will support the company’s planned growth strategy.
The Squire Patton Boggs team was led by Corporate Robert Bastian (Partner), in Frankfurt, who has been advising PREMIUM Equity Partners regularly for 15 years.
